Harnessing circRNA Stability to Increase Expression, Reduce Dose & Expand into In Vivo CAR-T

3:30 pm - Friday 19th February 2027

  • Potent, durable expression – circVec harnesses the intrinsic stability of circular RNA to accumulate transcripts intracellularly, delivering more protein per vector and sustaining expression far longer than conventional mRNA-based systems
  • Dose-sparing AAV gene therapy – by amplifying expression per vector genome, circVec enables robust therapeutic output at substantially lower AAV doses, with dose reduction demonstrated in both heart and eye – offering the potential to widen the therapeutic window and reduce dose-related toxicity
  • Expanding in vivo CAR-T using targeted LNPs and cell-specific expression to improve immune-cell targeting
