Christian has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, specializing in formulation and delivery of medications. Since January 2023, he has served as Vice President of Technology Profiling at BioNTech SE. With numerous patents, including innovations in RNA compositions for delivery and methods for stabilizing lipid nanoparticle mRNA vaccines, he substantially contributed to the development and accomplishment of Comirnaty, the first approved mRNA-based Covid-19 vaccine in the world.
